Why do I need to select my vehicle?

The more information you provide about your vehicle (date of first registration, engine code, etc.), the easier it will be for you to choose the correct product.

How do I place an online order?

Enter your vehicle registration number, your vehicle licensing certificate number, or select the make of your vehicle, the model, and then the engine type from the drop-down menus.  

Once you have selected the product category you need, make your choice and then:

- add your items to your basket,
- proceed to checkout,
- choose your delivery method,
- and finally, choose your preferred payment method.   

You will receive an order confirmation email, followed by a parcel tracking email once it has been dispatched.

How do I select my vehicle?

You have 2 options to select your vehicle:

1.   With your vehicle registration number:

- Enter your vehicle registration number in the space provided on the homepage of the site.
- Verify that the vehicle displayed is indeed yours.   

2.   Via our vehicle selector:

- Select the vehicle make from the drop-down menu.
- Then choose the model.
- Select the engine type.
- Finally, we recommend entering the date of first registration, as this will help refine the list of parts compatible with your vehicle. 

How do I search for a product?

You can search for a product in several ways:

- By entering the name of the product you are looking for in the search bar, the associated product(s) will be displayed in a list. Simply click on the category that matches your search.   

- Use the filters available to you; they will refine the list of products compatible with your vehicle.

- Consult the technical specifications of the products; they provide valuable information.

What is a part with a deposit?

The part purchased is a component reconditioned by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to strict specifications. It is less expensive but as reliable as a new part.

The surcharge amount is added to the price of the purchased part. This amount is then refunded to you when you return the old unit.

Please note:

- The return of the old unit must be made in the packaging of the new part received in your Mister-Auto order.
- You have 30 days to return your surcharge part.
- The original part returned must not be damaged, broken, or heavily corroded.

What is the OEM code?

The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) code is a unique reference number corresponding to the manufacturer's reference for a spare part.

This manufacturer's reference is usually found on the packaging of your old part.  

This is the code you should indicate when searching for a part by reference.

What types of parts can I find on the Mister Auto website?

Free shipping is offered during our promotional campaigns on certain delivery methods.  

It may be applicable to certain specific products in our online catalogue.

Can I pay online securely?

The security of your online payment is essential for Mister-Auto.  

When choosing payment by a bank card, your transaction is carried out in a completely secure environment by our partner, Stripe.  

It uses encryption techniques that comply with all banking regulations.

Why can I sometimes not choose my delivery method?

Due to their volume or nature, some items are shipped directly by suppliers via their own carriers.  

In addition, some products are not eligible for delivery to collection points, such as tyres and overly bulky or heavy products.  

Starter batteries, meanwhile, can only be delivered to your home.

How can I find product prices on the site?

By selecting the product you are interested in from the list of products displayed, you will be able to see the base price.  

This price will then be refined in your basket according to the preparation options you have chosen.

Where can I find product dimensions?

The dimensions of the product are indicated in the "Technical Characteristics" section of the product description. 

Where can I find information on physical shops?

Mister-Auto sells its parts exclusively online and has no physical shops in the Republic of Ireland.

Do your products have a legal guarantee?

Yes, by law, all the products we sell come with a guarantee that protects you.

For 2 years, if a product doesn't match what you ordered or is faulty, you can get it replaced or receive a refund.
