The end silencer,
exhaust end, rear silencer or resonator is the last
exhaust part of your car.
The exhaust consists of the
exhaust pipe, the
catalytic converter, a
middle silencer or muffler and an
end silencer or resonator.
The exhaust channels the fumes released during the burning processes in the engine. Some of these fumes are poisonous and therefore harmful to both our health and the environment. Recently constructed vehicles therefore increasingly tend to be equipped with a
particulate filter to reduce the environmental impact of cars.
