Every engine which turns on the burning of petrol or diesel oil, needs clean air in the burning process. It is essential that the air is cleaned and no longer contains dirt as these particles can cause decreased engine performance or even damage. In addition, the use of dirty air in the engine can make the burning process less efficient thereby increasing your fuel consumption.

To ensure your engine works efficiently and does not get damaged due to dirty air, we recommend replacement of the air filter every 12 000 miles. Driving in urbanized areas or on dusty roads means air filters are used more intensely and need replacing more frequently.
