Check the compatibility of your parts
Since 1999, vehicles of the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Porsche, etc.) require specific identification through what is known as a PR Code. These codes will tell us exactly which option was fitted to the vehicle when it left the factory and provides accurate information if the part is suitable.These PR numbers are always composed of a number and two letters, eg 1LA or 2EA.
These numbers are located on a sticker inside the boot and within the vehicle service book. It is as follows:
